Andrea Ball - LMT

Andrea started her journey into bodywork and massage through yoga 16 years ago.  She comments, "It gave me a physical body awareness I had never known before and the knowledge and technique to heal my injuries and maintain my active lifestyle."   For Andrea, learning massage was a natural progression for her, since massage can be a powerful tool for injury prevention and maintenance as well.  Andrea studied massage here in Telluride and worked in the spa world for a bit.  She then went to Thailand to learn their methods of Thai massage. With that experience she learned the techniques of trigger point therapy, myofascial work, sports massage techniques, and  serious deep tissue work.  Since then, Andrea has deepened her knowledge of the body and continues to add tools to better serve her clients on their journey to wellness. Over the past 5 years she has been practicing massage  and teaching private yoga sessions at Dunton Hot Springs, a high-end resort nestled in the San Juan Mountains.   "I’m excited to serve the Telluride community and am thankful to be a part of Derek’s vision at Balanced Physical Therapy." Andrea will be offering massage, bodywork and private yoga sessions. Please reach out!
